Article Fee

Journal of Integrative Engineering Research (JIER) charges an article fee of 18 USD or 250,000 IDR (Indonesian Rupiah) for each accepted manuscript. This fee is payable upon acceptance of the article and is used to cover the costs associated with the publication process, such as:

  1. Editorial and administrative expenses: The article fee helps to cover the costs of managing the submission, peer review, and editorial processes, including the maintenance of the journal's online submission and tracking system.
  2. Production costs: The fee contributes to the expenses related to typesetting, formatting, and preparing the accepted manuscripts for publication in both online and print formats (if applicable).
  3. Online hosting and archiving: The article fee supports the cost of hosting the published articles on the journal's website and ensuring long-term digital preservation and accessibility.

It is important to note that JIER does not charge any submission fees or page charges. The article fee is only applicable once a manuscript has been accepted for publication after the peer review process. The journal strives to maintain a reasonable and competitive article fee to ensure accessibility for authors from diverse backgrounds and regions. JIER provides clear information about the article fee on its website and in its author guidelines.

By charging an article fee, JIER aims to maintain a sustainable and high-quality publication process while ensuring open access to its published content, benefiting both authors and readers.
